There’s plenty of space in the room and closet, and guests can use the downstairs kitchen and dining areas, including the fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, tables, and chairs. There’s also a laundry room behind reception where you can leave luggage while exploring. It isn’t locked and there was no one at reception, but it seemed safe since the main door is locked and only people with the code can enter. The old building has charm, with its lovely staircase and wooden ceilings, and the hotel is good value on a quiet street just behind the main shopping street. Restaurants, cafes, shops, and a supermarket are only a few minutes away, and it’s a 20-minute walk from the train station. There are modern facilities, but the cleanliness didn’t quite meet my high standards, even though it was clean and hygienic. I’d bring slippers or socks for the room.

The room exceeded my expectations, and the self check-in was extremely smooth. It’s very close to the city square and an easy walk from the train station. I’d definitely stay here if I come to Bruges again. Highly recommended.

Everything was clean and tidy, and the rooms were comfortable. The medieval interior was beautiful, too. We had an amazing stay close to the city centre.

Adolfo was a very friendly and helpful host, with a warm, welcoming manner, and breakfast was brilliant. The hotel is a fabulous little place for the price, in a great quiet spot that’s ideal for seeing the wonderful sights in the city centre.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the location is great, very close to the main square. There’s no elevator, which made lugging our things up and down the stairs a pain. I understand lots of older buildings around here may be the same. My room had no mini fridge or safe, and the bathroom felt old, with a rusty soap dispenser. The soundproofing was terrible: I could hear people in the next rooms walking and talking, and everything in the hall outside.
