Bremberg Hotel

The worst part was being sent to another place at 11 p.m. after a long day, with a 30 minute drive on the highway to another city. We had booked and paid in full for a room, but Bremberg Hotel refused to check us in. There was no compensation, or even an attempt to find us similar conditions. The hotel they sent us to was cheaper and had no breakfast, so we lost money as well as the experience, atmosphere, and comfort we had carefully chosen for our family vacation. The room there was cold, dirty, windowless, and gloomy, with a strong smell of mold and rot. Everything felt disgusting. The owner was drunk and dirty, could barely speak, and staggered around. We spent the night feeling deceived and humiliated, not like tourists, and left as if escaping a nightmare, afraid we might catch something dangerous. We'd expected a clean, cozy room in a well-kept hotel near the forest. Instead, after arriving late at night confident we had a paid room, the staff at the Bremberg Hotel told us we wouldn't be staying there and sent us to a cheap, dirty hotel that smelled of rot. No explanation or compensation. It was the last stop of our vacation and ruined the whole trip. We got home exhausted, upset, and disappointed, feeling as if the entire vacation had been wasted. The Bremberg Hotel showed complete disrespect for its guests. If you value your nerves, comfort, and basic human decency, stay away from this place!
