The hotel keepers were so kind and filled in our local map with lots of recommendations. We loved being right on the canal and within walking distance of Market Square and the Church of the Holy Blood. The fireplace made the winter stay feel extra special. Thank you!

The canal views were unbeatable, and the rooms were spacious with lots of character. It’s also perfectly placed, close to everything. Reception staff were super friendly and helpful. This ended up being our favourite stay of the whole European vacation, well beyond what we expected. I’d recommend it to anyone and would happily stay again.

We had a romantic stay for my husband’s birthday. The room had a gorgeous view, and the AC came in handy during the heat wave while we were there. The bar downstairs is under renovation, but it should be lovely once the work is finished. We’d definitely come back on another trip.

We felt lucky to have such a lovely view of the canal right from our windowsill. The decor was beautiful too. We booked this place for a weekend in Bruges and loved the location, peaceful but only minutes from the lively parts of town.

Our room was beautifully equipped and just like the pictures, with a wonderful canal view. The staff were very friendly and gave us maps and useful tips for exploring Bruges. The hotel is close to the main attractions, though Google directions made it impossible for us to find the way there. It’s better to look for Die Swaene Hotel across the canal and check in there first. We’re looking forward to staying again.
