Maison Brunon

Peter was welcoming from start to finish during our amazing stay at Maison Brunon last week. We had a family room with our two children, aged 11 and 13, and they thought the mezzanine, beds, and lighting were fantastic. The room had thoughtful extras like USB points, bottles of water, coffee, and chocolates. I also loved finding the book '150 Spas you need to visit before you die' there. The interior design was second to none, and the old building has had a fabulous new lease of life. Thanks so much again, Peter. We hope to come again in the future.

Our room was incredibly spacious and comfortable, just right for relaxing after a day exploring the city. Breakfast was healthy, fresh, and a lovely way to start the day. Since the B&B has only three rooms, the attention felt personal, warm, and super friendly from the moment we arrived. The location is spot-on, only a 5-minute walk from the main square, with everything close by while still being in a quiet area where you can rest. We honestly couldn't have picked a better place in Bruges. We'll recommend it to friends and would love to come back one day!

We stayed at Maison Brunon in June, 2025, and had an amazing experience. Peter was a friendly, helpful, and gracious host. The home and room were beautifully decorated and outfitted with quality linens and decor. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and furniture, and we especially loved the great breakfast every morning. Our only negative was the lack of air conditioning. Open windows worked for us, but sleeping might be quite warm in a hotter month.

Peter made us feel so welcome, and we liked Maison Brunon and Bruges enough to add another night instead of heading back to Brussels. The room had plenty of space for our family to unwind after sightseeing, and we made good use of the tea and coffee. The bathroom and sauna were lovely too. It was a quiet spot, but we could easily walk to all the sights. Just right for our first visit to Bruges.
