Hans and Tamara have made this a wonderful place to stay. The renovation feels fresh and modern while still keeping the building’s character, and we were greeted so warmly that it felt like home right away. Our room was spacious, with an incredibly comfortable bed, and breakfast offered plenty of choice, including eggs cooked fresh. It’s peaceful here, but an easy walk gets you around Brugge and to everything we wanted to see. Hans and Tamara really went out of their way to make the visit memorable, and I’m grateful for their hospitality. Beer fans should ask about the property’s story and its beer recipe, then try the beer. It’s great. This B&B belongs at the top of anyone’s list. I’d rate it 11 out of 10 if I could.

We didn’t get to see everything we’d planned because my husband developed sciatica during our weekend in Brugge, so we hope to return in better health. The owner was very understanding and helpful, and he and his wife were lovely hosts. They greeted us with drinks, shared a map and tips on what to see, and even helped arrange a quick appointment with an osteopath. The guest house is quiet and comfortable, with a modern feel that still preserves its old charm. Breakfast was an impressive buffet, and Hans’s omelette was delicious. It’s just a five-minute walk to the center, so we left the car in their secure parking area. We’d gladly stay at Quay 17 again. Thanks for looking after us, Hans & Tamara. See you next time.

The breakfast was a highlight, and the place itself has beautiful furnishings. The building is historic, though it’s been renovated in a modern style. Hans and Tamara made us feel very welcome throughout our weekend stay. It’s quiet around the B&B and still very close to the city centre. We had a perfect visit and I hope we can come back soon. I’ll definitely recommend it to friends and family. :)

I’ve rarely stayed somewhere on my travels where I wished I could extend the trip. My time here just wasn’t enough. It’s cozy and luxurious, with a great breakfast, and the comfort and architecture have clearly been considered down to the smallest details. The service is just as thoughtful as the design, and everything seems arranged to make the travel experience better. I’m very grateful. I’m running out of words, so I’ll simply say: choose Quai17. You’ll be glad you stayed.

Breakfast was phenomenal, and our canal-facing room was peaceful despite the hotel being right in the middle of everything. As light sleepers, we really appreciated how quiet it was. The property is stunning, with original artefacts that add to its character. Hans and Tamara were warm, friendly hosts. This is the best hotel we’ve had the pleasure of staying in, and we’ll definitely visit again.
