The Secret Garden

Nikki made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. She was kind, supportive, and genuinely friendly, and the hotel itself is stunning, with beautiful taste and care in every detail. Sadly, an encounter with another staff member spoiled part of our stay. An older man in the dining area abruptly asked if we were guests. We confirmed our reservation, even though the list had only four rooms, but he stayed unfriendly. He asked where we were visiting from, apparently assuming we’d say Spain, and smiled. When we said Mexico, he made an unpleasant face and started complaining about what he sees on the news. I told him Mexico was a beautiful country and gave him another chance, but he made a very obvious disgusted face again. My mom and I felt even more uncomfortable and decided not to eat anything he had prepared. I wholeheartedly recommend this lovely hotel for its beauty and the exceptional service from Nikki, who made our stay worthwhile. I hope future guests experience her warmth and professionalism. To the older man at the front desk who made ignorant, racist comments about Mexico despite never having visited: remember, you’ve benefited from the hard work of the very people you insult. Maybe it’s time to reconsider your views.

Valerie and her family welcomed us with such warm hospitality, and she was always helpful and greeting us with a smile. We were upgraded to a larger suite, which made us so happy, and the amenities were amazing and top of the line. The hot tub was clean and relaxing, and the B&B is perfectly placed, less than a ten-minute walk into town. We loved this place and had an incredible stay, the best B&B we’ve ever visited. It would be a perfect choice for an anniversary or any occasion, and we’d love to visit this secret again. Five stars, it doesn’t disappoint.

I visited when it was quiet, and it was one of the most romantic places I’ve stayed. The suites have a really nice, distinctive design, and the breakfast was good. There’s a small bar in the lounge, a lovely wood-burning fireplace, and a beautiful wooden barrel hot tub. The Hermès Orange-Vert soaps and shampoos were a very nice touch. Beautiful.

Nathalie arranged everything perfectly, and our host was knowledgeable and happy to help. My wife and I had a brilliant weekend at this special place, The Secret Garden. It’s right by the canal in the center of town, close to everything. The room was elegant and beautiful, with all the facilities you could wish for, and made us want to stay in and relax.
