The portions were generous and the meal felt worth the price. The starter and dessert were nice, though the ribs could have had more spice. Outside, the warmers kept us cosy and the view was nice.

The canal-side view was picturesque, and it was a welcome breather from the busy square. We came in by accident without checking the reviews, and after 12 days travelling around Europe, we'd say this was our best meal so far. The staff were attentive and the food excellent. I read the reviews after we ate. Maybe there was a big staff change, or perhaps we just got lucky.

The food was dreadful, and it felt like a waste of money. The steak was uncooked and the chicken overcooked, as the photos show. I think the owner should close the restaurant. If you can't cook steak or chicken, give up and try something else.

The food was nice and the location great. The staff were a bit too pushy and didn't want us to order fewer than one main dish each. Apart from that, it was an amazing experience.

We were a group of four and asked to put two tables together. The waiter refused in an unfriendly way and insisted we sit separately, without trying to find a solution or showing any understanding. The attitude felt neither polite nor customer-oriented. A very disappointing experience.
