There's a full little kitchen, which is great if you're trying to keep your budget down. The neighborhood is quiet, and you're close to everything, including the metro. A nice place to sleep and spend the day. I'd stay here again if I come back to Brussels.
We arrived at the property only to be told our stay had been cancelled and we should find somewhere else. They said they couldn't help, and we couldn't reach them by phone either. The worst place, don't ever book here.
We booked through Expedia in August for seven people to stay at the end of September. Four days before the trip, the property said it had cancelled our booking because of a technical difficulty and couldn't host us. Prices had shot up by then, so we paid £300 more for the same stay in the same area. I wouldn't be surprised if they cancelled just to make more money after prices went up. Avoid at all costs.
I booked a month ahead, but when I arrived there were no details for getting into the building. I called and was told the system had cancelled my booking, though nobody had let me know. I had to find somewhere at the last minute for twice the price, and Smart flat aren't compensating me. The odds of not getting an apartment here seem high. Don't stay.
The bed was actually pretty comfortable, and it had everything needed to live there. No air conditioning, but they do provide a fan. Good value for money and a pretty good location. We couldn't hear the neighbors, though I imagine loud ones might carry. Street noise wasn't an issue either. There were no bed bugs during my stay, despite what some earlier reviews said. Maybe there was an outbreak a while ago, which can happen even at five-star hotels.
