B&B Taptoe II

That bed was the most comfortable one I’ve ever slept in, and the location is unbeatable. I loved the spacious room, its high ceilings and old wooden beams, plus the amazing wood floors. Even the bathroom was one of the most unusual I’ve seen in a B&B or hotel. I can’t wait to stay here again when I’m back in Brussels.

We had everything we needed for our first holiday with our four month old daughter, including a cot. The hosts were very accommodating, and they replied quickly to emails before we arrived. Our apartment was lovely, and breakfast was relaxed and enjoyable. Having access to the kitchen meant we could prepare things how we liked and whenever it suited us. I’d highly recommend Taptoe to anyone visiting Brussels.

The room was bright, lovely and clean, and the bed made for an excellent night’s sleep. Being tucked down a cul-de-sac also meant it stayed quiet in the evenings. B&B Taptoe is brilliantly placed, around five minutes from Mannekin Pis, La Grand Place and Brussels Centraal station. We stayed for three nights and will book it again on our next Brussels visit.

The floors creak, and the old fashioned design gives the place a sense of the past. The hosts are kind and friendly, and Daniel is always willing to help. It’s a clean, comfortable place with a shared kitchen for guests. There are just three rooms, right in the centre, with the city’s sights, restaurants and shops all within walking distance. Manneken Pis is about 100 metres away. I left with a positive impression.
