A nice place to stay. The rooms and breakfast were good, and the customer service was good too. Everyone was friendly. They have free parking and a solid internet connection for work.

There's a Turkish fast-food spot nearby called Turcos Kebap. The food is tasty, good quality, and affordable, so I definitely recommend checking it out. This hostel is really great too.

I booked ahead to stay overnight in my campervan. The parking area felt secure, and the grounds were pleasant. Water and rubbish bins were available, and I could use the hostel facilities, which were very clean. It's a 25-minute walk to Grand Place. I loved the area, with its great North African restaurants and takeaways.

The location made it easy to walk into the city, though the surrounding area felt a bit run-down and sketchy. It was safe enough, but I felt uncomfortable at times. We chose a private room with single beds. It was clean, the bathroom was modern, and the price was good for the location and facilities. I liked the hostel's focus on sustainability, but the showers only ran for about five seconds before you had to press the button again. That was frustrating and impractical when washing my hair and trying to find the button with shampoo in my eyes. There was a bar and kitchen on site, where you could cook, or buy an evening meal or snacks. Breakfast was exceptional, with lots of choice and coffee machines, and they often restocked the food. It gets very busy on weekends, as you'd expect. There was also quite a bit of noise between 1am and 3am on Friday and Saturday nights. Most staff were lovely and helpful, but a few seemed annoyed when we asked about check-in or the baggage storage system. The front desk service could have been friendlier, though it didn't spoil our trip. For a good price, this was a nice hostel overall. The breakfast, facilities, and price were the highlights; the area and some of the customer service were the low points.
