Hygge Hotel

It felt cozy and homelike, with a welcoming reception and a great location. Breakfast was tasty, even with gluten-free and lactose-free options. My room was clean, had all the essentials, including a capsule coffee machine and welcome water, and the internet worked well. The staff were friendly and helpful. Very good value for the price, and I'd definitely recommend it. I'll take pictures to post next time 😀

The common areas had a lovely atmosphere, and the location was great. We found the family room really spacious, with lots of room for sleeping, and it was quiet and comfortable. A clean, comfortable hotel for a family visit to Brussels. We'll definitely stay again.

The only real drawback was the lack of room to put things down or work. There was just one tiny table, already taken up by the coffee machine, kettle, and phone, so there was nowhere for a laptop. Otherwise, I was very comfortable here. The service was kind, reception was nice, and both the room and bathroom were very clean. The bed was comfortable too.

I booked because I had work in Brussels the next morning, but I barely slept at all. There was a buzzing sound all night, like a loud ventilation system near the bed, maybe from the heating being on too much, but I don't know for sure. I called reception in the middle of the night and got no answer. When I went downstairs, a very gentle man gave me another room two doors away, but it had the same noise. Nice hotel and good accommodation, but I wouldn't recommend it after that night. What a waste :(
