Hotel Midi - Zuid

I had a great stay. The room, bed, and bathroom were great. The man at the front desk during the day was very nice.

I checked out again straight away and will sleep somewhere else. There were red spots on the bedsheets and mattress, including on the replacements. Reception wasn’t helpful in fixing it. They gave me replacement sheets with the same spots and told me to “get over it”.

Overpriced and deceptive. I wouldn’t stay here. The rooms were unclean and had no air conditioning, despite the sign outside saying they did. The area isn’t good and felt even less safe after 11 p.m. It seems obvious to me that either the management wrote the positive reviews or bought them, because this place is little more than a hole in the wall. If you want a hotel near Brussels Midi-Zuid, stay on Av. Fonsny. I also found Booking.com misleading about the hotel’s location.

The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful, and we enjoyed our stay enough that we’d certainly come again. The room was large, with a fridge and kettle, plus tea and coffee. It’s a great budget hotel in Brussels, close to the train station and shopping areas.
