Everything else deserves five stars. The apartments are clean and well equipped, the showers are warm and powerful, and the location is excellent for exploring the city. There’s also some great food nearby in the Louise quarter. The Residence La Source is attached to the Hotel Cascade and has apartments for short to medium stays, starting at around £60 a night for short bookings. We booked a studio but were upgraded to a suite with a separate bedroom on the floor below, because people were smoking on our floor. Apparently they couldn’t do anything about it.

A great place to stay, with good customer service and a built-in kitchen.

The room was comfortable and well equipped, but there was no sponge and dishwashing liquid, or even a dishwasher tablet, and the kitchen had no trash can. When we arrived, there were problems with the room access card, so we were moved to another room. The card issues kept happening for the rest of our stay.

Trying an ApartHotel for the first time worked out really well for me. Residence La Source has a good location, and the apartments are roomy and comfortable. If you travel without using hotel services and would rather eat at nearby restaurants, this is a much better option than a hotel. Worth it.

Modern, clean, and quiet. The center of Brussels is about a 25-minute walk away. I'd pick a garden-side room to keep away from the elevator.
