Very noisy, but the location works well if you have an early flight from Charleroi airport.

The rooms are average, about what you’d expect for the price, but they get very hot and there’s no air conditioning. Cigarette smoke drifts into other rooms, and the neighbors shouted and knocked on each other’s doors until the early hours, with no consideration for other guests. If you’re staying because you think it’s close to the airport, don’t bother. There’s no direct public transport, and it takes three buses to get there. A taxi costs €25-30, and they only take cash. I wouldn’t really recommend staying here unless you’re desperate.

For three people, around 40€ for one November night was unbeatable. The room seemed fairly clean and did the job, though there were no frills. A solo traveler might feel unsafe. We arrived at 3am after a late flight, and the person at the front desk seemed a bit annoyed that we came in so late. The corridors smelled of smoke, and the shower setup was interesting, as shown in the linked pictures.
