Auberge de Bouvignes

I arrived by bicycle for a one-night stay, and Vincent let me store it safely in the garage. The rooms are comfortable and pleasant. Travelling on my own, I enjoyed chatting with Vincent. A great place and host, thanks for your hospitality!

We stayed three nights and I only wish we’d booked longer. The room was beautiful, and Vincent is a fantastic host who readily shares his excellent knowledge of the area. Each evening came with a complimentary welcome beer and one of his excellent beer recommendations. The inn is close to Dinant but outside the centre-ville, so nights are peaceful. Breakfast was delicious and good value, and the coffee was great too. Can’t wait to return!

We had a great Easter stay at the Auberge. Vincent is a charming proprietor who goes out of his way to accommodate even the most "high maintenance" guests. There’s a solid breakfast served 8-12, and bicycles are available for a pleasant ride down to the Mareddsous Abbey to sample their tasty beer. Vincent offers a welcome drink every day from his extensive collection, and shuttles guests to and from nearby center of Dinant for dinner. After a good chat with him, it’s easy to settle into a comfortable bed in a room that blends old-world charm with modern comforts. We’d gladly stay again and highly recommend it.
