We had a wonderful 3 night stay in beautiful Dinant. The room was clean, with a modern bathroom, and the views were lovely. Steven & family were wonderfully hospitable, and the breakfast was divine. The location was excellent too.

The balcony space is limited, but the view is really nice. I came for brunch and tried a smoothie bowl. It was okay, though honestly, nothing special.

The service was less than zero. The staff seemed to know something was off because they didn’t ask how we liked the food. We went for breakfast/brunch and didn’t enjoy it. I had dry, sweet pancakes with bacon and eggs, which were meant to be fried but weren’t. They cost 18,50, and the smoothie was lazy and tasteless at 7,50. All the pancakes are sweet, and so is the maple sirop. That’s not at all how they eat them in America. Maybe children would like all the sweets, but we found the whole thing very weird and got the impression the cook had never had American pancakes in his life.
