The house is wonderfully roomy, and having a ping-pong table in the kitchen was a fun surprise. Its personal vintage decor and the glass facade, along with the tall living room, give it real character. We spent New Year's Eve here with two families and their grown-up children, and enjoyed walks nearby, a full moon and stars from the living room, and sunny weather. It was cold outside, but the central heating and wood stove kept us warm. The bathroom fixtures are vintage too and could use an update, which was the only real downside. There's some deferred maintenance, but we felt at home in this special house and would love to come back.
