The restaurant food was magnifique, and the staff were very polite. Our room was lovely, the beds were good, and everything was spotless. Definitely worth a visit! Bring cash, though, since cards aren't accepted and the nearest ATM is miles away.

We had a bad experience here. The owner wasn't friendly, and there was no internet on the second floor. Payment was cash only, so we had to drive around looking for an ATM, and the machine wouldn't let us withdraw Euro 800. There's no toilet by the swimming pool either. I don't recommend this hotel.

I've never been treated so disrespectfully in a restaurant. My companion and I ordered two drinks and two dishes, then they sent us away because, as they put it, “c’est un restaurant.” Apparently our order wasn't big or expensive enough to be worth serving. The restaurant wasn't even half full, and there were no reserved tables, so it wasn't as if they were giving up other customers who might order more. That's no way to treat customers, or people in general.

The food was nice and the restaurant was fine, but the room fell a little short of what I expected. There was no carpet, just a stone or cement type of floor that felt very cold and not cozy 🙃. You have to pay in cash, too. In general, I felt it was a tiny bit overpriced for what they offer.

The host was very warm, and the food was excellent. We also had a lovely walk along the riverside through what felt like a jungle, with lots of anglers out enjoying themselves. It turned out to be a surprisingly nice place.
