Les Gîtes d'Apothecarius

We had a really pleasant stay in this charming little cottage we found on a weekend trip to the area. It was clean, comfortable, and practical, with lovely decor. Wandering through the historic center and its narrow streets was a highlight, and we enjoyed seeing traces of the past along the way.

Muriel welcomed us so warmly and shared ideas for things to do nearby, from walks and historical sites to tasty takeaway meals. The medieval-style cottage is a great base between Namur and Charleroi, and it feels like stepping back in time. We'd happily recommend it!

We loved our time at 'Les Gites d'Apothecarius', from Muriel's lovely welcome to the moment we had to leave. The entrance is grand, the decor is inviting, and the accommodation has all the comforts we needed. Muriel also gave us great suggestions for seeing the region. Namur is very close, so we spent an afternoon and evening exploring there. We'll come back to fit in the things we missed. Anne and Claude

There was plenty to do around this cottage, including hiking, strolling around the historic center, visiting Lake Bambois, and shopping. We also enjoyed trying local food, with the Chantal Florent chocolate shop, a butcher, and takeaway options among the choices. The cottage is well placed for Dinant, Maredsous, and Namur, and we got to enjoy the new spa bath too. Thanks again to Muriel for such a warm welcome!
