This is well suited to adult groups, as long as steep stairs aren't a problem. The rooms are nicely decorated and the beds are comfortable. It’s an easy walk to the city centre, and the off-street parking has space for 3-4 cars, which is a real bonus. The owners’ own brewery beer in the fridge was a nice touch, especially after the drive.

The owners were really friendly, and you can have dinner at the house for a reasonable price, with gin and beer tasting from their own brewery. There’s free parking behind the house, and it’s only a short walk into town. A nice place to rent.

We were glad we booked the gin tasting and the dinner they cooked for us at the house one evening. It made for a great experience. This AirBnB worked really well for our family group.

There are a lot of mosquitoes in July, easily more than ten a night, and the screens aren’t good, so airing the place out can be difficult. The extension shower also takes a moment to figure out: pull down the ring at the bottom of the tap, where the hand-shower hose comes out, to switch between the hand shower and rain shower. The location is excellent, just a stone’s throw from the center of Bruges, and the cleaning staff do a great job. There’s a large fridge, a small oven, and two bathrooms, one in the extension and one in the house. The one in the house means standing in the bathtub. The beds were clean, though some creak terribly, and most pillows were much too soft for me, even if that might sound comfortable. The seating was comfortable, but the living room only seats about two to two and a half people, so another sofa would help. The TVs are a little dated, though the living room one has Netflix and a few other services. The board games were often out of date or missing pieces.
