We had a good two-night stay in a quiet area. The self check-in was easy, though check-in at 17h30 is late. It worked for us since we were doing a walking tour in town. The walk into town takes about 20 minutes along a lovely street. Ambrose kindly showed us where to park for free. Paid parking is also available outside, and our walk to the car over the canal bridge took a few minutes. The room was clean, with a fridge and cups, and they made the bed and changed the towels every day. There’s a kettle and tea and coffee in the hallway, plus a hairdryer and microwave. You can order breakfast downstairs. We’d stay again.

The hosts were wonderful, and the place is well located in a nice neighbourhood. It’s about a 20-25 minute walk to the centre, with grocery shops and a laundromat nearby. Breakfast is absolutely worth it, there’s a lot of food for a great price. Their laundry service is good too: washing and drying costs 10 Euro per clothes bag, and they return it the next day. The bag is large, and it’s cheaper than the nearby laundromat. We tried that place, but the machine took .20 euro without giving us soap, and washing alone costs 12 euro with no drying if you have more than 6kg. I believe they allow a maximum of two linen bags for clothes, but our roughly 8-10kg fit in one.

We booked for two people for one night in Bruges, gave the hotel our check-in time, and checked ourselves in. The room was clean and had a nice style. The hallway had a dryer and kettle, among other things. Unfortunately, the room was cool. We turned up the heater, but I think it shut off by itself after a while. Still, it’s a clean and affordable place to stay.
