Burgstraat 17 Apartment in Exclusive Patrician House in Medieval Ghent

This was the best apartment we stayed in Belgium. It had a lovely interior, felt spacious and cozy, and was in a good location.

Burgstraat 17 in Medival Ghent is one of the most beautiful apartments we’ve stayed in. The decor and amenities can make all the difference at a B&B, and here they’ve thought of everything. It looks like a place from a luxury magazine that seems too good to be true. The owners have invested in comfort while keeping the beautiful building’s authentic character. It feels luxurious, and they’ve worked hard to make guests feel welcome. Hats off!

I booked the apartment for the wrong day by mistake and canceled within a minute. The owner still charged me 31 euros and refused my refund request, saying he’d keep half my money. Nothing like this has ever happened to me with an online booking or purchase before.

Just a three-minute walk from Gravensteen Castle and the old town, the location is fantastic. The apartment combines modern style with historic charm, and has two bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a living room with a comfortable sofa. The TV was huge for my taste, and it came with a Wii and a handful of games. The terrace was a perfect spot to relax in the evening with a glass of wine. Great place for a visit to Ghent!
