A note for anyone booking: there are two apartments, the orange (201) and the green (101), both reached by a narrow, twisting stairway. Communication was uneven. We really enjoyed our stay, though. The location is ideal, just steps from everything in Ghent, and there's even a little view. The apartment was stylish and comfortable, with splashes of colour and art throughout. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bathroom was bright, and we appreciated the gas fireplace on a rainy evening. The bedroom was spacious, dark, and quiet.

Communication was poor. A few days before my trip, I had to cancel because I'd mixed up my visa situation and immigration refused me entry. I know the booking was non-refundable, but Astrid agreed to reschedule it somewhat. When I got back in touch with new dates, I heard nothing. SCAM!!!! Lesson learned, I'll only book an official hotel.

Everything was close by, right in the town centre, and the place was super clean and new. I'll definitely come back.
