The breakfast spread was outstanding, and it was just a short walk to Hasselt's lively center, with loads of places to eat. The hotel's layout, cleanliness, and charm really impressed me. Check-in was contactless and easy, and I had no issues. A very good place to stay overnight if you're in Hasselt.

Make sure to save room at breakfast for oma's homemade waffles, they're delicious! The hotel has plenty of charm, and the staff are friendly and love a chat. A fabulous place to consider when you're in Hasselt. Thanks for the hospitality!

The room was okay, but could use an update. The shower was in the room and leaked, and the owner already knew about the problem. His response was, "we clean everyday". Breakfast was good, though we didn't get much peace and quiet because the owner talked to everyone for a bit too long. We know quite a lot about his personal life now. It's a villa, not really a hotel, and we stayed two nights. We'd give it a 7.

The breakfast really makes up for the suite being a bit smaller than others I've stayed in. It's cozy, though, and while it isn't the most modern, it's fine for a night. Expect a family-style welcome when you arrive. I felt welcome and had a really enjoyable stay. I'd happily visit every year, and I recommend it.

We booked the wrong date by mistake and called the hotel to see if we could work something out. They showed no understanding, laughed at us, and treated us without dignity. The lack of respect and customer care was unbelievable. I wouldn't recommend staying here.
