The cafe has a lovely setting, and I’d come back. I’ll skip the mocktails, though: they were mostly ice, with hardly any drink.

We came for the Bonsai Trophy 2025 show in Genk and had to leave early the next morning for a flight. The hostess kindly put together a lunch package for us. Great breakfast, really thoughtful service, and a lovely kitty cat! 😺

The big garden, terrace, and old trees made the quiet setting especially nice. Inside, the old farmhouse has been renovated with a chic, modern feel while keeping a cosy atmosphere. I was travelling with my road bike and felt very welcome. The owners are friendly and clearly keen to make guests comfortable. Breakfast was a good buffet, with everything I needed and fresh orange juice. I’d absolutely recommend this guesthouse.

The people here were fantastic, and breakfast came with warm, welcoming service. The two rooms we had were lovely, though sharing can be awkward when guests get up at different times, since the bathrooms are right in the bedrooms with no separation.

It’s a nice, cosy spot for a drink, but I’ve stopped coming. In the back garden you have to queue to order now that it’s self-service, and I waited around 20 minutes for my drinks. Out front, a waitress takes your order, but it’s hard to find a seat. I used to visit quite often, but standing around that long isn’t for me.
