We had another lovely week in Hertsberge, Belgium, even with the late-July weather changing all the time. The heated pool, at 26 degrees Celsius, and the Finnish sauna, which reached 75-80 degrees Celsius after about half an hour, were real luxuries. The beds were made up when we arrived, the mattresses were good, the towels were large and nice, and the air conditioning in all three bedrooms worked well. It was around 29 degrees Celsius during the day for the first few days, so sleeping cool was a treat. The kitchen was stocked with all the basics, from towels and dish soap to dishwasher tablets, and there was a separate freezer. We were disappointed by the hot tub, though, and never ended up using it. One tip: Smart-IJs in Wingene, where the ice cream sundaes are especially good. Worth a visit! The holiday home was very nice, the hostess was warm, and Bulskampveld Landscape Park is close by. Highly recommended.
