We had booked this cozy holiday home and paid the deposit some time ago, just before the coronavirus restrictions. The pandemic meant we couldn’t go. Now that we’ve registered to book again, we’ve been told, to our great surprise and disappointment, that the deposit we already paid can’t be used. We’ve lost it. I don’t know whether this is normal business practice, but it certainly doesn’t feel friendly.

A really pleasant place to stay, with a cozy atmosphere, lovely setting, and everything arranged properly.

Booking online is easy, and it goes straight through the owner, which is all handled smoothly. We come back often and always enjoy it. The place sits peacefully by the Kemmelberg, and the welcoming, well-kept interior has an old-fashioned charm. It’s comfortable too.

A peaceful spot for a holiday, and a handy base for exploring the Heuvelland.
