Gite L'unité

We had a good weekend and were a good team, but some things were disappointing. The jet shower looked appealing, yet once inside the cubicle I just wanted to get the shower over with. The hot tub was much the same. Don't count on using the two beautiful fireplaces for that chalet atmosphere, as that's forbidden. I understand why, since only half the deposit is refunded: €125 of €250 for the weekend. And you'll wait seven weeks to get it back, if you're very careful. The photos can differ from what you find there. The much-mentioned large leather living room, for example, had been replaced with one made of pallets. Have a good stay, everyone!

We stayed in the cottage for a week and had to buy a lot of bottled water because the water wasn't drinkable. The microwave was faulty, and the TV subscription to TV Vlaanderen had programs in Flemish, English, and sometimes Arabic. Dogs are allowed, but cost €7.50 per dog per day. A 30-liter garbage bag costs €1.60, and gas and electricity aren't included, even though our use was low. Those costs come out of the deposit. Be sure to clean or empty the appliances before leaving. Any oversight is charged, for example, an unemptied dishwasher costs €40.

A pleasant holiday home in a very nice location.
