The property is attractive and has a lot going for it. Our bed was comfortable, the place was very clean, and breakfast was good, though the coffee was weak. The stairs up two floors are narrow, so watch out. We were also glad we’d paid the extra 10€ for our dog, since everything got sorted out after that. Getting inside was a stressful start. This isn’t really a hotel, and there’s no reception. We were locked out on arrival and spent about 20 minutes ringing the bell before checking our email again. A later email had the access code, along with a request to call a number if we wanted the breakfast we’d prepaid for, presumably so they’d know the time. I couldn’t call from my UK mobile, so we went to a nearby restaurant apparently owned by the same company to let them know. I spent the night worrying we’d have to pay for breakfast twice or face an argument. One other letdown, the coffee.
