A lovely, quiet country setting for this traditional Belgian red Brick "4 Kant" farmstead, modernized nicely. The rooms are simple and good quality, with a cozy shared area for eating and meeting, plus a bar. Breakfast had great fresh options, and the host was super friendly. Great value, a true gem.

The owner is a cool, friendly guy who looks after you, and the ground floor has a little garden space of your own for morning coffee. It isn't regular hotel-type accommodation, which actually makes it feel like home. The area is peaceful, great for resting and collecting your thoughts. The rooms have a simple but stylish design, and the comfortable beds make for a good night's sleep. Thoroughly recommend.

The drive on the autoroute to De Deugdzonde goes through flat, industrial, gray surroundings. Then, after just ten minutes on winding minor roads, you arrive at a stunning restored farmhouse. The hosts are welcoming and personable, the rooms mix modern and traditional, and the swimming pool is clean and chlorine-fee. Worth the money.
