BB Het Nieuwe Bintjeshof

The breakfast was good, though nothing particularly special. The rooms were nicely maintained and parking was good, and I'd rate cleanliness 4/5. The welcome and stay were much less satisfactory. No one was there when we arrived, and finding reception wasn't easy, so I had to call the number on a door. The man who answered said he'd be there in five minutes, with no apology, and when he arrived he didn't greet us or apologize. He just pointed out our room instead of showing us in. We also didn't get the included welcome drink, or an explanation. Hospitality: 1/5; stay: 2/5. The room had heating, but air coming in under the door left it rather cold. There was a shower but no bath. We were meant to get a guided tour of the farm, but it never happened and nobody explained why. We didn't see any Kangaroos either.

Breakfast was a real treat, with lots of fresh homemade things to choose from. The hosts are so warm and welcoming that we felt right at home. The place is peaceful and very clean, and there's honestly nothing to complain about. We'll come back, and next time we'll book dinner too, since breakfast has made us keen to try it.

Theo from Peer, 12-09-2018. We really enjoyed this B&B: the rooms are spacious and tidy, the people are very friendly, and the food is plentiful and delicious. There are lovely cycling and walking routes nearby. You're out in the countryside, but still close to bigger centers like Kortrijk. I'd definitely recommend it to everyone.
