The room smelled awful, and the pillows reeked of sweat. It was disgusting. There weren’t even disposable slippers or anything else for basic hygiene. The rooms were freezing, and the photos looked nothing like the reality. Far too expensive for what it is. I definitely wouldn’t book here again.

I was here for a weekend business trip. The place feels fresh and modern, with simple decor. I stayed in room 218, which was huge: it can sleep 10 people across two rooms, with two separate toilets and shower rooms. There was parking right outside, free from 6pm until 9am.

Focus Budget was simple, clean, and had everything I needed. The breakfasts were excellent.

The room was thoughtfully designed and well kept, and the Wi-Fi made it easy to check emails. I had to arrive late yesterday, but that was no trouble for Jan. He replied within minutes to the late arrival notice I left on the booking form, arranged everything for a late-night check-in, and left clear instructions at the entrance. Breakfast was nice too.

It’s a short walk into the centre, with the bus and railway stations nearby. Breakfast was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
