CH Longstay 33

The staff made a real effort throughout our stay, especially Chloe and Hannah, who were wonderful. We had a suite, prepared with so much care, with complimentary drinks, delicious macaroons, snacks, and more. The wellness area was comfortable and relaxing, and we had two hours of private use. There are lots of rooms and spaces to enjoy on your own or with others. The colorful, welcoming bar has plenty of drinks, cocktails, and bites. The installations are astounding. It felt like much more than a stay, and we’ll definitely come back for the experience.

Breakfast was pricey, but it was a special spread, with à la carte choices as well as a buffet. Sitting in the beautiful restaurant under the glass ceiling was such a pleasure. The hotel has extraordinary rooms and interiors, and the employees were super friendly and helpful. The sauna, hammam, and fitness area were included. Incredible place, and we’ll definitely return for a few days of relaxing.

Cobergher is a real hidden gem if you value luxury, privacy, and attentive service. The large hotel chains in nearby cities can feel impersonal and offer mediocre rooms by comparison. It isn’t cheap, but the staff’s personal commitment makes the stay feel like a bargain for the level of service. Raphaël and his team deserve credit for keeping this eclectic, historically decorated boutique hotel going, with no compromise on food or service. The city may not seem like Flanders’ most attractive tourist stop at first, unless you know it. More than advisable.

We only meant to stop overnight on the way to Brugge, our final destination, and were lucky that Cobergher Hotel (CH) had a room during such a busy time. From the helpful correspondence through check-out, the experience was amazing. We’d have stayed longer if we’d known what the place had to offer. Since the rooms in the main hotel were still being renovated, our group of 10 stayed in the CH apartments, about 5mins away. The apartments were minimalist in style but every bit as comfortable and luxurious as the main hotel. We had three 2-bedroom suites, each with a full kitchen and living room, fully furnished and stocked. Everyone slept amazingly after a long day, and we all wished we could stay longer. The main hotel feels luxurious as soon as you enter, without being over the top or pretentious. Its layout opens onto a courtyard connecting the dining area, bar, sitting rooms, and reception. Each room has its own character in the rich decor, while warm, luxurious colors tie everything together. The interior decorator deserves congratulations for creating spaces that feel welcoming and still give visitors plenty to admire. The staff made us feel very welcome, too. We can't say enough about this place and would recommend Cobergher Hotel without hesitation. We'll have to come back!
