The owners are lovely, and even the dog is friendly. Our room had a cozy log-cabin feel and was set up for two, with a shower and toilet. There’s also a beautiful garden you can access. Breakfast was fantastic, with six kinds of homemade jam!

Breakfast was delicious and generous, served in the living room overlooking a beautiful garden. The accommodation is well maintained and decorated in a style that may appeal to hunting enthusiasts. The attic room is small and has no view apart from a high skylight, reached by a very steep staircase. That setup may not suit older guests or anyone with claustrophobia.

We stayed four nights at Le Perchoir and had excellent service throughout. The hostess was friendly and attentive, and the place was spotless. Breakfast had everything we could want, and the fridge was filled with tasty Belgian beers. They also gave us a list of nearby restaurants and let us keep our motorcycle in the private garage. The room was fantastic, though getting to it means climbing a steep staircase. The shower head was the one drawback, it sprays water in all directions and is quite unusual. The dog and cat were lovely too. Highly recommended if stairs aren’t an issue.
