The peaceful, intimate feel is what stood out to me at Riad Nour. It has a thoughtfully arranged setting that makes it easy to slow down and relax. Compared with other calming experiences I've had, including Saunadelizia, it has that comfortable boutique-escape atmosphere.

Our booking through booking.com was cancelled by the hotel only a few days before our stay, supposedly because of a flood. Yet reservations were still available through other booking sites. At first I thought they might have forgotten to close bookings after a major incident, but then I checked the Google Maps reviews and saw lots of complaints about cancellations for the same reason. How many floods have there been? Be careful with this hotel.

The entrance is unusual, just a door and a small sign saying hotel Riad, without the kind of traditional hotel entrance you might expect. The deluxe room looked... interesting :) The hotel was clean, and breakfast was excellent.
