Amitié

The shower was a highlight, roomy and with great water pressure. My room was spacious too, with a distinctive feel that made it feel like home. The breakfast had plenty of delicious choices, and Amitie Bed and Breakfast had a warm, cosy atmosphere. The owners were friendly and helpful. I'd happily recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming and comfortable place to stay.

Good food, both in how it looked and tasted, with portions that felt just right. Gypsy and Didier made for a lovely atmosphere as hosts.

We had a really lovely weekend in the César room. The setting and tasteful decor were charming, and the owners welcomed us so warmly that we felt at ease straight away. Breakfast was varied, excellent, and high quality. We didn't get to try the gourmet restaurant this time, which gives us a good reason to return. The shower drainage and slope weren't quite right, so water pooled quickly and the bathroom could flood. Some guests also talked loudly, even shouting in the shared areas after midnight, although our room was on the ground floor. That's not the establishment's fault, but it's an old building and doesn't block much sound. Even so, we had a very positive stay and will come back, especially to try the restaurant. The owners were kind and helpful throughout. They don't speak French, but we got along just fine, switching between Dutch and English.

Amitié made us feel at home from the warm, familiar welcome onwards. Our room was spacious and carefully appointed, and then we had a phenomenal six-course dinner. The host and his son cooked, while the hostess welcomed us, served, and chose delicious wines to go with each dish. The little bites with the aperitif set the mood, and the meal kept getting better. Worthy of a star. After a wonderful night, we finished with a fantastic breakfast. Some places make you wish the moment could last forever, and this is one of them. Everything felt perfect. We'll be back soon!
