The small town is close by, so everyday essentials are easy to get, and Waterloo is about 25 minutes away. The big gardens and rooms are lovely, too. What makes this place special is staying in very historic buildings, with friendly owners who speak English really well and look after their guests.

La Ferme de la Tour is in a pleasant village with plenty of shops, including a gas station. There are several restaurants nearby, though we didn't get a chance to try them. The gardens are beautifully kept and a lovely place to relax. Our room was especially quiet, with a lovely shower and very comfortable bedding. We were greeted warmly and simply, and getting to know our hosts was a pleasure. Some of the breakfast items were homemade or sourced locally. The apple juice was excellent, and discovering Liège syrup was a real treat! I highly recommend it. We'd be glad to come back next year for a longer stay and explore more of this beautiful region.
