We stayed at Fermes du Bonheur in spring 2024 with colleagues. The house was acceptable, though not particularly clean, and the surroundings were beautiful. During our stay the stovetop broke. We told the owner right away and contacted our insurance company to deal with the cost, but the owner was rude and unhelpful, and clearly didn’t want to cooperate. It took nearly six months of calls, messages and emails to get our deposit back. They also kept €20, saying we’d broken something else, which we hadn’t. They didn’t reply when we asked about it, and we decided pursuing it further wasn’t worth the stress. Very rude staff. Wouldn’t recommend.

The bathrooms were completely dilapidated, and the bedrooms with shower cubicles smelled of mold and sewage. There was a beehive on the terrace. The owner was missing when the keys were handed over and again for the checkout inspection, while the caretaker entered the cottage in the middle of the night. The security deposit wasn’t fully returned, with no proof of the items provided. I don’t recommend this place. It’s far too expensive for what it is!

The place was big enough, but the showers were really dirty, with maggots in them. Some lights in the toilets and showers didn’t work, and one toilet seat was broken. Outside was lovely, and it’s high up, so there was no flooding.

The beds felt really flimsy, and the showers didn't work properly. The toilets were dirty too, so the sanitary facilities were in very poor shape. It's an authentic farmhouse in a beautiful location, which was a shame.

The sofas were very deep, and the place was in a quiet location. It seems better suited to a large group than our group of 12, though the dining room table was the exception.
