Filip was a great host, staying next door and offering plenty of suggestions for places to visit. Bruges is easy to reach from the house. We took the train, though next time we'd like to try the bikes. The huge garage made parking really convenient, and having EV charging across the road was a bonus. Belle Vie was spotless, with modern, high-spec appliances and quality furniture and finishes. Since the weather was good, we made lots of use of the first-floor deck for breakfast and evening drinks. We had an awesome short stay. Thanks!

The room at Belle Vie was super clean and handmade by the owner, and he and his mother were both really friendly. It was very hot in Brugge that day, but we still had a cool, comfortable stay. We'd definitely come back if we're in the area. Superb!

The accommodation was clean and tidy, but the host treated us very poorly, so I don't think he's suited to running a B&B. We'd agreed to pay a deposit beforehand because he'd had a bad experience with a group of men in the past. During our stay, a friend accidentally caused minor damage to the wooden patio wall while putting the parasol back. The host didn't hear us out and went straight to a carpenter, then sent us a quote for 350 euros. He also charged us extra for supposedly not disposing of the garbage properly, although we'd put everything neatly in the trash. He then accused us of breaking the check-out rules, even though 11:00 AM was the agreed time and we were outside by 10:45 AM. Be warned.
