We used the nearby walking and cycling routes and went to the Mystery 19 escape room, which needs to be booked ahead. There’s also a nice abbey/brewery nearby. A few small things needed attention; we told the landlord, who said they’d look into them, and they didn’t affect the stay. The accommodation was comfortable and had plenty of space for six. The open kitchen and utility room with an extra fridge were roomy, and all the appliances we wanted were there. There was ample seating in the living room and a lovely gas heater. Upstairs, reached by a long curved staircase, there’s a large bedroom with an en-suite bathroom without a toilet, plus two bedrooms side by side with a bathroom between them. There’s a separate extra toilet near those two rooms. Getting in was easy: the key was in a safe, and the directions for finding and opening it worked perfectly.

A super nice holiday home for our group of six friends and three babies or toddlers. They had two sturdy cots and a high chair ready. There was plenty of storage, the rooms and bathrooms were super clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed, including an air fryer, juicer, and grill.

The fireplace made the place feel extra cozy. The house is perfect, with everything supplied, including plenty of towels and comfortable sheets.

We had such a lovely stay in this beautiful cottage. It’s well maintained and the surroundings are lovely. We’ll definitely be back!
