The hosts were kind face to face and quick to respond, and the pool itself was beautiful. But the house had serious plumbing problems: grey wastewater from upstairs fixtures flowed into the kitchen sink and overflowed. The shower heads didn’t work, and none of the bathtubs had plugs. There were flying ants in the bathroom, and after chemical treatment some parts of the house were uncomfortable to use. Cleaning also fell short, with sticky surfaces and cobwebs around. When we brought this up, the response felt confrontational and unprofessional. They offered a refund if we left early, but our moving arrangements meant we couldn’t do that. It could be a charming place once the maintenance and cleanliness problems are sorted, but I can’t recommend staying until then.

Had a lovely day. The hosts were friendly and gave us plenty of privacy, and the pool was clean and secluded. Thanks so much, I’d happily recommend it.

We’ll definitely come back. The welcome was so warm, and the cottage made for a wonderful day. There’s a spacious, private pool with deckchairs, a great shower, and even a baby bed. Thank you!

The host was really kind and helpful. We had a very nice time, and the heated pool is private with no overlooking.

The bedding wasn’t very good, but we had a great weekend in this large house. There’s a jacuzzi, swimming pool, big living room, and fireplace, which made it a great place to spend time.
