We slept like babies in a very comfortable bed with linen sheets. And yes, they do need ironing, despite what some people seem to think. Breakfast was nice, and the service was top-notch. The setting is charming and peaceful, with an open kitchen and Chef Pascal, who clearly loves his work. A hidden gem for food lovers: pure flavors and high-quality ingredients. We’ll be back!

The location is the only reason I’m giving this two stars. I stayed in the Churchill room for almost a week while working on a farm, and the person we were working for paid for the stay. The room is dim and not fit for three people. The closet shifts when you walk into the room. If you’re taller than 180 cm (6 ft), showering is difficult, and men may struggle to use the toilet. Dinners were mostly okay, but breakfast was ridiculous: two slices of ham and three slices of cheese for three people, plus hard butter and bread. The packed lunches were worse. One time we got sandwiches made with moldy bread. I also had to buy my own coffee pads from the shop if I wanted more coffee. I don’t recommend this place.

What a distinctive place. The dinner we’ve just had was lovely, and I’m sure tomorrow’s breakfast will be pico bello too. Thanks, Pascal.

A good spot for a peaceful weekend, with welcoming people and delicious dinner. If you enjoy taking your bike out on the road and riding up and down hills, this is the place to come.

We had a relaxing stay with kind hosts and lovely views all around. The fine dining was delicious, with local ingredients and an experienced chef.
