Ohles Lifestyle Guesthouse

We had a Deluxe Double Room with Balcony on the top floor. The room and hotel design were beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out. Everything was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. The room had a spacious shower with water that reached the right temperature almost immediately, plus a big balcony and a private sauna. The sauna smelled lovely, was very clean, and had a huge window with a view. A simple wall panel controlled the temperature, lights, and sun shades, and check-in and checkout were fully automated and quick. I’m happy with that setup, even if some people would rather deal with a person. A few small things could be improved. There’s no full-length mirror by the door, and the toilet light runs on a motion sensor, so you can’t use the toilet without switching it on. The tiled WC floor was cold, and no slippers were provided. The curtains block light well, but the sauna window and glass door still let some in, since that window only has a semi-transparent shade. A way to block it completely would help with sleeping longer. There’s no private parking. We got lucky and found a space right outside the entrance, but I’d like a reserved spot next time, or even better, a guarded underground garage. The entrance has a threshold about 8 cm high, which isn’t very convenient for a wheelchair user or heavy wheeled luggage, though the rest of the hotel seems easy to get around with wheels. In our double room there was only one chair and a small table for one, so the only place to sit and share a meal, like a pizza, was on the balcony at its rather small table with two garden chairs. I’m being very picky here. This is a marvel of a hotel, and I highly recommend it.

The rooms are cozy and really nice. I like that there’s no one at reception, and the beer tower where you can pour your own after a long day is a great touch. I’d recommend this place anytime 🙂

My friend and I were cycling from Amsterdam to Italy, and this was easily our best stay. It’s very biker-friendly, and the quality felt premium for the price. I’d strongly recommend it to anyone nearby.

Right in the center of St. Vith, with bars and restaurants an easy walk away. The rooms have nice decor, and breakfast was simple but included lots of local products.
