The hosts were great, and the breakfast was delicious. I only stayed one night, but enjoyed it enough to want to return for longer. It's an old house in a picturesque village, with restaurants nearby. The interior was a bit vintage, but very clean and cozy. There were no vegetables at breakfast, which seemed strange to me as an East European. I've noticed salads generally aren't a strong point of this region, though. I'd definitely come back.

We enjoyed the surroundings, which are lovely for a walk. It's a charming boutique hotel, close enough to Ghent for an easy cycle. There's no restaurant, just breakfast, but we picked up food from local shops and ate on the terrace beneath a splendid oak tree.

We brought our dog, which cost an extra 20 euros. The room was spacious and clean, and we slept well. We didn't have breakfast, though it smelled good. The hotel is conveniently close to the motorway, yet sits in a quiet, leafy small village with great restaurants. They sent the entrance codes ahead of time in case we arrived after 7 pm. I'd recommend it.

The rooms were okay, clean and comfortable, but breakfast was a real letdown. At €21 per person, we expected something special, and it really wasn't. We left feeling like we'd been ripped off.

We stayed for a night with our dog and felt at home straight away. The hosts were the best! The house is wonderful, the room was very clean, and the bed super comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and homemade. Highly recommended.
