Really great.

Breakfast was generous and delicious, and our room had plenty of space and a comfortable bed. There was even a fridge stocked with local drinks. The hostess greeted us warmly, with her West Flemish roots.

That winding staircase is worth mentioning first: the B&B sits on a slope, and you have to climb 15 steps to get there. The bed really ought to be replaced, and better soundproofing would help too. You weren't actually looking for feedback, were you?

The setting around the orangery is lovely, with greenery and terraces, and we had a really good paella there one evening. The hostess made it herself, and the Spanish wines they serve and sell were delicious too. You can also get tapas or a three or four course meal there. Ronny and Katrien are warm, friendly people, and we enjoyed their hospitality. Our room wasn't especially big, but it was comfortable, clean, and tidy. The beds were great, the shower was good, and it was quiet at night. We got a warm welcome and a quick tour before being shown to the room. There's a shared lounge with a TV and drinks are usually available, though not during the corona measures. You could still order a drink from the hostess to have in the orangery, weather permitting. Breakfast was good as well. At the time, we had to fill in a list because of the corona measures, choosing things like eggs, yogurt, and different breads. There was fresh pressed local apple juice each day. The B&B is a nice base for bike rides and walks around Haspengouw, and Alden-Biesen is worth seeing too. It was easy to relax in the green surroundings, and we'd happily return. You can also buy their Spanish olive oil.

We tried the four course menu and thought it was fantastic. The B&B itself was lovely, clean, and had a friendly, welcoming feel.
