Belrom Hotel

We chose this small, cozy hotel for our second trip to Belgium and had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was friendly, and breakfast was very good. The owner and staff were always kind and ready to help.

The staff were nice, and the hotel was clean, but the rooms felt small and there was a lot of road noise. The neighborhood seemed really dodgy to me. Breakfast was okay, though I've had better for the price. I picked this place for an overnight stop because it's right beside the lange fietsroute (LF6), but I wouldn't stay again. It wasn't worth the cost.

I keep coming back to Belrom whenever I'm in Sint-Truiden. The rooms are consistently very clean and quiet, the staff are excellent, and the family feel makes it easy to feel at home. Parking is spacious and free, which is a plus compared with other places in town. The restaurant is closed at the moment, which some people might see as a drawback and others as a benefit. De Klok in the town center is excellent, though, and there are lots of other good restaurants with great food and service just a few minutes away by car. As you get closer to the center, there are plenty of small, distinctive shops too. It gives the town a much bigger city feel. For me, it's the best priced place in town.

A good hotel, and the staff have a sense of humor. The neighborhood keeps things interesting too, at least for the men :)
