I had to stay for 15 days, and I hated the place. It doesn’t feel like a hotel. The rooms looked nothing like the pictures: small, dark, old, and dirty. When I asked to move rooms, they charged me an extra 100 EUR. My room also went uncleaned for 12 days, and there was an insect in the bathroom at the end.
Just like the name suggests, it works well for a night or two. Free parking on the outskirts of Brussels makes it handy for stopping, sleeping, then heading off.
The location worked well, with a bus into central Brussels, and the place felt secure since you need a key code to get in when reception is closed. The bed and pillows were really comfy, the shower had great pressure, and the bathroom was clean. There were coffee and tea making facilities too. Most things about the room were great, so don’t believe every review. A couple of things to keep in mind: if you haven’t paid before check-in, you have to arrive between 4 and 6 pm to pay or you lose the room. The walls are thin, so noisy neighbors could wake you, though ours were great. Dogs are welcome, but it costs 15 euro per pet per night.
I arrived on December 27th at 8:30 PM and couldn’t check in because nobody was there to help. The instructions gave an emergency number to call, and I also tried email, but neither got me any assistance. I waited at the property until 11:30 PM, then had to find another hotel for the night. It was frustrating and disappointing, and I feel like I’ve lost my money because I couldn’t get into the room I’d paid for.
