That “No go!” review really annoys me. We’ve stayed here several times, and each visit has been a good one. The rooms are comfortable but modest, and breakfast is very good, served in a cosy room with a fireplace. The restaurant is great too, with good food, a warm atmosphere and really friendly staff. Our last stay was in winter, and the snow made it a very romantic weekend.

We had a great experience here. The staff are friendly, and most speak English as well as French. The buffet breakfast is simple but very good quality. Rooms are beautiful and clean, with nice bedding and bathrooms. The standalone house also makes it easy for a large group to stay together.

The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was okay. The outdoor pool felt a little cold. One thing to know if you’re staying nearby: everything was shut by 23:00, even the street lights. I’d stock up on drinks and keep them in the fridge in your room.

We ended up at Aux Ecuiries almost by chance after visiting the museum to see the famed King Tiger on display at La Glieze. Lunch was well worth it: my lasagna could rival the one I make at home, everyone enjoyed their food, and the staff were good. There are lots of reserved seats, so get there early if you want an unreserved table. I’d suggest arriving around 17:00 to be sure of getting a table. Safe travels!

I’ve stayed here twice over the last three years for the masters historic racing, and it’s beautiful!
