Bed and Breakfast Mirabel

The hosts were thoughtful and kind, and gave us their picks for restaurants and chocolate shops. We especially enjoyed hot chocolate and waffles at the Old Chocolate shop, and dinner at Diligence Restaurant. The only hard part was leaving. I'd gladly return to Bruges, mostly for another stay at the Mirabel. I was there for six nights. My room was spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished, with a Nespresso machine, kettle, fridge, and nice bathroom supplies. There's also a proper coffee machine near reception that makes great hot chocolate. The old city is an easy walk away, and the bus stop is two minutes from the guesthouse for a short ride to the railway station. Breakfast was excellent, with a handmade dessert each morning. A lovely way to start the day.

We first came with the family last October and had such a good time that we returned. Booking directly through the guesthouse worked really well for this visit, and I'd recommend it. The owners are welcoming and friendly, and the service is wonderful. The beautifully decorated B&B feels luxurious and has a lovely atmosphere. Breakfast is delicious and beautifully laid out, too. The owners' Brugge guide to shops, restaurants, and museums was a helpful touch on both stays. It's also just a few minutes' walk from a clean, secure car park and the main market square. I highly recommend Guesthouse Mirabel and hope to visit again.

We could have stayed longer. After days out walking and sightseeing, it was lovely to return to such a peaceful, calming guesthouse. You can tell a lot of care has gone into the place. We spent two nights there in January, and the spacious rooms were spotless. It's central, with the centre of Bruges less than a ten minute walk away. Breakfast was a real highlight. You choose what you'd like the day before, and it's served fresh. Agna and Benny made a different dessert each morning. They also surprised my partner with a birthday card and candle, which was so thoughtful. Thanks for having us.

Agna and Benny made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. You can see how much of themselves they've put into Guesthouse Mirabel. Our room and bathroom were spacious and beautiful, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast was a treat after a restful night. We picked from a range of choices the day before, then got fresh juice of the day each morning. Agna's food was amazing, from rich French toast and perfectly cooked omelets to crème brûlée, chocolate mousse, and homemade granola. We were sad to say goodbye. If we get the chance to visit Bruges again, we'll definitely stay at Guesthouse Mirabel.
