B&B La Chabetaine

We really enjoyed the pool, especially the seating and sun beds around it, so bring your bathing suit. The whole house is well looked after, and breakfast was perfect. It’s in a handy spot, just 10 km from Bastogne, and every room has a balcony with a stunning view of the National Park. The couple were very friendly and helpful. We’d definitely come back.

Bea and Alin were the best part of an already great stay. When our car broke down on the way to Germany, we ended up at La Chabetaine unexpectedly. We hadn’t been able to eat while the car was in the garage, so Bea asked if we needed food and made us delicious sandwiches when we arrived. The next day, while the insurance company sorted out arrangements and we waited for a taxi to collect a hire car, they made us comfortable and even prepared lunch. Alin also helped coordinate the taxi and hire car since we don’t speak French. The house sits in peaceful countryside with lovely views of the Ardennes. The residence was outstanding, and our modern room and the home were spotless and incredibly comfortable. The facilities felt equivalent to a 5 star hotel, and breakfast was delicious. We can’t thank Bea and Alin enough for being so welcoming and friendly. La Chabetaine would be a great place to stay for a longer vacation in this beautiful, interesting area.

The only downside was having to leave so soon. Our kids loved swimming in the pool, and our daughter was especially fond of your puppy. The balcony view was amazing, the rooms were perfect, and Alin and Beatrice were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay at La Chabetaine. We had a great time touring Bastogne and other nearby Belgian towns. Breakfast was amazing too. Thanks so much for welcoming us into your home. We’d recommend your B&B to anyone. Merci beaucoup! The hosts were great, and the rooms are first class. There’s a swimming pool too. I’d absolutely recommend staying here.
